Too much
I thought I posted my "too much" comment in the original thread (guess not), but here's my thoughts tied into Daryle Singletary's:

Too much fun? What's that mean?
It's like too much money, there's no such thing
It's like a girl too pretty, with too much class
Being too lucky, a car too fast
No matter what they say I've done
I ain't never had too much fun

Just substitute "football" and/or "basketball for "fun" since both sports are, well, fun.

Also, I got real excited about the USC-UT home and home tidbit...but then I realized I made the same mistake as Matthew.

I haven't checked up on the PRTL, but apparently they're offensive-scorefests from some of the point totals I heard about earlier this week.

here
The Smiths were so adamant about not giving Pearl a chance in the process that the elder Smith, Billy, even took to going on various sports radio shows around the state and blasting Pearl for his "lack of integrity, ethics and honor." That was a charge made to me in April of '05. Billy Smith called Pearl everything but Jerry Green in the process, even vowing that he would hit the phones and try and poison Tennessee's recruiting efforts. Billy Smith, upset with Pearl's refusal to grant his son a release from his scholarship, went as far on Bill King's show on WNSR Radio in Nashville to describe the then-new UT head coach as "a butthole."

Callers, too?
I haven't been listening to talk radio for the last few weeks. Is that just Basillo stirring up trouble, or are callers not welcoming Smith back, too?

i live in nashville
i don't listen to knoxville radio. even if i did live in knoxville, i don't know if i would listen because from what i've heard there's a lot of sugar coating. small mike, a popular UT fan that calls shows all across the south, says he's off the bandwagon until tyler smith leaves UT. i'd say there's a few people who don't like the Smiths @ all but more people are welcoming him than those that aren't because they only care about results and Tyler makes the team a lot better.

Tennessee curlers earned second place at College Nationals (Division 3). UT has now had curlers earn medals at both nationals and regionals for at least three years running.

And by all appearances, curling will be a registered club sport at UT beginning in the fall, making Tennessee the first college in the South to have an official curling club.
