Ok, Vols fans, now that we can safely accept our irrelevance in this year's SEC race, it's time to move onto consolation prizes. Like sitting judgment over the other SEC teams who are obviously too emotionally invested in their own teams to be able to sort out the real pecking order. Let's start with a question posed by our favorite Tide fan in residence, bammer:
You guys have now played UGA and UA. In your opinion, who has the better defense?
So, which is it? (Polls close at 8 PM EST Friday; you should be out pretending to be kids and getting free candy by then anyhow.)

I vote Georgia
If memory serves, the offense played a fairly clean game against UGA, and we still couldn’t move the ball.
Against UA, though we struggled indeed, our offense seemed to perform a little better until they did stupid stuff.
Both defenses are solid, though.

I was at the Georgia game
But not at the Bama-UT game. My impression was the UGA defense is very good, but Bama is markedly better. Who knows how TV vs. in-person effects that perception though.
