Stick With Nick

A win is a win.  I excpected more of an offense but Nick played a fairly good game.  He didn't seem rushed on the plays and  had a few catchable balls dropped that should have been caught.  Crompton is a good QB and seeing that he is not the only one on the team that can run the show might open up his eyes that he is going to have a hard fight on his hands to start again.  And if, and when, he does start again you will see a different QB than the first 4games.  I think the coach made the right call and and I thiink he will stick with Nick for tha Ga, game.  Hats off to UNI,  they played a good game.  And a BIG kudo to the defense again.  They won the game.

GO VOLS !

Agreed.

Crompton doesn’t have to be done, but he’s really going to have to give a reason to put him back in. Here’s hoping he takes a breath, clears his mind, and resets.

Stephens was one of the brighter spots on the offense tonight; I kinda wish he would have thrown the ball more.

Stephens looked real good tonight. I was at the game, so it will be interesting to watch a replay of the game, but he appeared to be making reads and throwing to options other than #1. Too many dropped passes though, but I’ll chalk it up to the receivers being surprised that the ball was catchable :)

If he gets the full amount of snaps this week with the first team offense, they should be more in sync. I like our team better than I have all season. Still some dumb stuff tonight, and some bad, bad luck… but we got the W. At this point in the season, I’ll take it :)

Nice job

I think Stephens did okay. I listened to the game and if Kesling / Priest can be trusted in their analysis, some drops that should have been completions stopped some drives. At least I heard some different names on the receiving end of some passes. That’s got to be a good sign.
