Arian tells me that the pterodactyl joke is getting way too much attention. I disagree. That's why I just texted him that if he scores a touchdown he has to break out the pterodactyl wings in celebration. We both agree this would be funny. Of course Tennessee's offense has to score for this to happen. Stay tuned. But I'm hoping against hope for pterodactyl wings.

Ok,
Now that would be funny. It’d probably be interpreted as a lack of passion by most Vols fans, but I’d get a laugh out of that. I just wish I knew if he was being serious about that pterodactyl bit or if it was an off-the-cuff joke that got too much play.
As someone who’s prone to cracks like that, I could see both possibilities.

Regardless of intention, I kinda loved the pteroodactyl thing completely.
Because I’m apparently a seven-year-old boy in 1965—anything involving dinosaurs, astronauts, or cowboys has my immediate and undivided love.

Me, too
Really.
Except for the timing. It sounded like Fulmer was on one end of the room defending himself and his job, and Arian was cutting up on the other. It was always about the timing for me.
I hope he scores first, most, and best, “flies” across the end zone each time, and that the Vols stomp the Dawgs again. I hope he’s welcomed back home by a throng of veeking fans. But I fear, well, I fear some more poor timing.
Go Vols!

Could you imagine that sound?
All of Neyland Stadium: “VEEEEEEEK!!!!!!”
That’d be the answer to the question, “What is the sound of 200,000 ears bleeding?”

“veeeek!” instead of “wooo!” during “Rocky Top”?
