OK, watching on TV and looking forward to the comment thread...
… let’s go Vols! Let’s make last year’s game look merciful!
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
Oops
Never mind, for some reason I thought our game started at 8pm. As you were…
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
The Lady Vols are gonna lose
Is UTC supposed to be any good? Or have the mighty fallen this far?
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
or...
Replacing 5 starters with mostly green faces takes some time.
The 96-97 Ladies won it all with a 23-10 regular season record. It’s not how you play at the beginning but at the end :)

As an App State Fan
I recall UT-C having a decent women’s team in SoCon play last year. I could be horribly wrong though, but I think they are at least better-than-average in the SoCon.

UT-C women
went 29-3 last year according to ESPN and was undefeated in the SoCon. So, yeah, pretty decent team.

I'll take
a 1 point road win vs a team that had a 24 game win streak last year any day

Man...
I get vols games in Forsyth County, NC
But apparently not in Guilford County. BOo!! Who cares about the Bobcats?
OK, this Lady Vols finish is exciting, but...
… I’d rather be watching the men’s game.

11-10
I still haven’t gotten to SEE the vols play yet. Class got me out of the first two and some crap NBA game is on SS here in NC. Prince sounds great early tho.

Tough call on Chism
Although I’d rather he throw elbows out there than shoot it…
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
I thought it actually went off a Blue Raider
but the refs didn’t see it that way.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
They just showed the graphic that we started last year's game on a 31-4 run
I won the Text-2-Win promotion at last year’s game.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
under-12 timeout
Middle up 14-13
Pearl animatedly talking to Woolridge.
(I love that Woolridge wears 0 in homage to the old man…)
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
Vols not playing well
MTSU is not good. We should be blowing this team out right now.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
Color guy is wrong
He thinks the T was on the bench, but it was clearly called on the rim hang.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
Why is Steven Pearl playing?
(I mean, I know he’s the coach’s kid, but seriously – he gets way too many minutes.)
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
the more I hear about Maze
the more I like him

Foul on Williams? WTF?
Terrible call. 2 on Brian. Barely touched him.
Ugly game so far.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
Back on track
29-26 Vols
Now a Hopson RAINBOW! 32-26.
Nice. I love Scotty Hops.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
60%
the lane violation negated a miss
MTSU 25% FT (2-8)

Again, why is Pearl playing?
On a team this deep, he should be our 10th or 11th man at the earliest.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
I can't help buy say
that PEARL might be an important reason. =/

I like the kid...
…and I love his dad, but he has no business getting the number of minutes he is getting on a team this talented.
And there he turns it over. Nice.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
I like him too
but I don’t think Bruce will play him once the schedule gets tough. Makes a bit of sense right now trying to find the rotation.
by bobo_the_vol on Nov 21, 2008 9:26 PM EST up reply actions
You wouldn't think...
… but he got minutes all year last year too.
It is Coach Pearl’s one single flaw as a coach.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
cuz THAT doesn't sound a bit familiar
MTSU is hanging tough though, 4-9 from 3, few TOs
by bobo_the_vol on Nov 21, 2008 9:28 PM EST up reply actions
Familiar
our basketball team hasn’t done great in half-court under Bruce. Well, at times. At times they have been great.
I love transition play a ton, but you can’t win on the press alone. Imagine if we were playing UNC right now.

They said Clawson addressed the team before the game
j/k

This game is sold out
First sell-out for Middle since 2004.
This dumb color guy said “it has lived up to the hype!”
Um… no.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
Great break by the Vols!
But then they get burned on the other end.
Bruce hates that.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
This team thinks they can beat us
And we’ve given them no reason to think otherwise.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
Maze needs to take this game over...
… he can keep us from turning the ball over so much.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
good athleticism by Tabb on that jump ball
Good break by the Vols too. So much talent on this team.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
Williams looks slimmer and more athletic this year
Did he lose more weight this offseason?
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
Isn't that damning with faint praise with him, though?
by Chris Pendley on Nov 21, 2008 9:55 PM EST up reply actions
He may be a lanky swingman by the time he graduates...
… he already has the three-point stroke.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
Well, I guess this game will be a good wake-up call after those first two blowouts...
… but I just hope we win it.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
Great ad by the parenting council
where the kid blasts the dad with the water gun.
Now I feel bad for watching basketball right now.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
I was throwing away dinner
These kind of things happen when you’re in the Austin airport listening to Tennessee basketball.

The PBP guy just said "money" on that free throw by Tyler
You, sir, are no Bertelkamp.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
PBP guy: "hails from Nigeria... a pretty fur piece from Knoxville."
And yes, he said “fur,” that was not a typo.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
PBP guy claimed it was because the shooter was a coach's son
Apparently only coach’s kids are capable of having Woolridge stupidly jump up and land ont hem 20 feet from the basket. No wonder Pearl gets so much PT.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
These TV guys are killing me
The color guy just said this is an SEC atmosphere.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
Ugly, ugly game
We are trying to give it to them but they don’t want to take it.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
Mark Richt and his wife shop at Carpets of Dalton?
Thanks, now I know to avoid it.
Lou Brock loves Lamp.
