The University of Tennessee has agreed in principle with Lane Kiffin to become the Vols' next head football coach, a source within the program has told the News Sentinel.
Barring any unforeseen snags, Kiffin will be announced in the coming days.

It was just reported during the basketball game....
That multiple sources are reporting lane kiffen will be named the coach on monday at a press conference. Andy Katz had the news during the game. I also have heard rumors (nothing solid that I can show) that he could bring Ed Oregeron in as an assistant. Oregeon was Carrol’s recruiting coordinator at USC, and Lane Kiffen was one of Carrol’s main recruiters, including being the one who got Patrick Turner to go to Tennessee.

ESPN is reporting that Lane Kiffen has also talked with his dad, Monte Kiffen, the Tampa Bucs D-coordinator, about potentially being apart of his staff at tennessee.
