Good Sign
Room is full of the players. When asked to make room for members of the media, they gave a resounding STHU (and yes, that H does stand for "heck"), we are the players and the media can find different seats.
I hope
That all of the jerks who’ve criticized him at every turn for being selfish and only caring about himself are watching this. This guy loves UT, and you can tell this is killing him.
No kidding.
It’s not easy from this end either.

Good.
He has the option of staying at UT in some capacity.
Whether he wants to stay or to coach, he deserves the option.
He's a little bitter now.
Wanted to have been given the chance to fix this.

Specific
Coach Fulmer named who he would take questions from.
I wonder if John Adams was even allowed in the door?
It would be nice...
If one of them would at least say thank you for giving them a job for 17 years ( or however long based on how long they’ve been in the business)
yeah
Someone needs to come in and pump the crowd and audience. Maybe Berry can get an interception or something.
Or tackle someone he doesn’t like. Whatever. I’m not picky.
I just figured that out.
Josh Briscoe is the student-athlete representative from the football team. He dialogues with the athletic admin as a part of that role. He was the mouthpiece from the team to the students last year when the ticket prices were first announced.
In that role, it makes sense for him to be there and to have the liberty to ask a question.
And to feel betrayed (in the heat of the moment).

What? Yikes
Eric, does this decision make you consider transferring?
“Next question.”

I think the players are going to picture John Adams's face within the Wyoming helmets.
And they’re dead men walking.
Is there any way to capture this?

No.
It’s silverlight. If it were just streaming through windows media player or something like that, I could hook you up. As it is, no.
Thank Microsoft.
Oh, I'm watching
I just want the look on their faces forever.

Try a screen capture while you're watching a replay.
It’ll be lower res, but you might get a freeze frame that way.
No
He was thrown out because certain people had axes to grind. He was an amazing coach for Arkansas, but when things went down for one year, the knives came out and he was tossed. Arkansas has never really been close to the level he had the program at ever since. An occasional flash, but nothing more.
Yeah,
More Constant Sorrow. Different kind.
Go Vols!

I darn near teared up listening to him...
I have such a mixture of sadness and hope.

Wow
Channel 5 (or 8 or whatever CBS is) actually tracked down Majors and interviewed him. He refused to comment on today’s announcement but said something along the lines that he is proud to be a Vol and that whoever the next coach is will find that UT fans are the best in the world. The poor kid interviewing him asked him some questions about today and the direction the program is headed in, and Johnny said he has said all he is going to say. “My tale is told.”
It was some tense television, but I can’t believe they tracked him down – it looked like they were outside Dale’s Winning Edge or somewhere in West Knoxville.
