And to be honest, we’re one abysmal defensive season / adjustment season away from a contingent pining for Chavis’ return. (You know someone’ll get impatient if the Kiffin 2 fails to gel in the first, oh, 20 minutes.)

I always liked Chavis, and I think he’s fantastic. Vol fans better think so, too, because from what I understand, Monte’s system is similar.

Monte goes into the Prevent Defense with a 7 point lead
and 10 minutes to go in the game? That’ll be interesting.
I’m happy for him (and us since we know how to beat his defense), but I call BS on all those NFL jobs he supposedly passed up.
