The right decision, honestly.
UT already has two RB commitments (rated higher than Giles by Scout, FWIW) as well as a pretty hard-running trio in Hardesty, Creer and Poole. That’s 5 RBs to sift through in the offseason; unless we’re planning on running Single Wing, that may be a little RB heavy for one year’s class.
On top of that, I’d assume we’ll still see Jones used in the running game to a certain extent, even if he’s limited to end-around and reverse plays. So I think Spurrier was more in Giles’s playing interests.

We have enough time splitting carries as it is and with David Oku and Toney Williams planning on coming I don’t know where this guy would fit, best of luck to him, just not against us.
