Well, I have come to a conclusion. rbk from The BruceBall Blog is, in fact, the same person as our very own gramsey712. This is an incontrovertible truth as evidenced by the high degree of bile elicited from these two (one?) at the mere mention of LSU basketball coach John Brady. Nobody hates Brady like rbk/gramsey712. Evidence, first from rbk, who is having a great deal of fun in response to today's announcement that Brady has been canned:
Who they got? A lousy coach in Ole Chipmunk Cheeks . . . .
What are they good at? Coach Brady is awfully good at being a complete [um, personal hygenic implement]. . . .
Where LSU is weak. Brady’s face, brain, coaching, and mother are weak. . . .
Gameplan: Embarrass Brady.
. . . .
Okay, then. rbk likes not Mr. Brady. There's a lot of good actual information about the game over there, by the way. It's just that this is way more fun.
To say that gramsey712 doesn't like John Brady is like saying that gameday is Knoxville is "a little orange." Let us peruse the Record of Wrongs and the evidence of gramsey712's loathing:
- Two years ago, after Dane Bradshaw had had some harmless on-court fun with the LSU fans in Baton Rouge, some of the courtside cajuns began chanting Bradshaw's name toward the end of the game while he was on the bench. Pearl played along, walking Bradshaw to the scorer's table and lifting his arm like he was the winner of a heavyweight fight. The crowd loved it. Brady, however, disapproved of Pearl's "antics," and said that Pearl had "no class."
- A year ago, Brady took a swipe at Tennessee guard Jordan Howell, saying "We missed better shots down the stretch than the 3-pointer their guy made, and it's not like [Howell] is Pete Maravich running around out there." Okay, then.
- Before last year's March 8 game, Brady failed miserably while trying to be diplomatic in response to a question about how to deal with Dane Bradshaw. Brady effectively insulted two players at once by saying that he was worried about Lofton and "that Smith kid" and not that worried about Bradshaw. Bradshaw responded by saying all of the right things to the media and following that up by saying, (paraphrasing) "I'm saying all of the right things, right guys?" JaJuan Smith said that he couldn't wait to tell the other guys, and you know he's not that fond of being referred to as "that Smith kid."
- During that game, gramsey712 had this to say:
All I have done all night is sit on my couch and think about how much I hate Brady. Hate hate hate. I am trying to think of another coach in college fball or bball that I hate as much. Honestly can't do it.Spurrier...makes me laugh.
Saban....Don't trust him, but don't hate him.
Donovan...Just laugh at his hair.
Tubby...too nice to hate (by the way he is right, why is UT playing tonight and Ole Miss gets a bye? They need to fix that.)
Meyer...Not yet, but getting close.
Richt...Again, too nice.
Tressel...cheater, but don't hate him.
Krysewssiliebovizski...that elbow to the nose of Hansbrough was intentional, I don't care what Krsyewwillobitzski or his boyfriend Billy Packer say. There it is....Billy Packer. But he is not a coach.
I could do this all night, but the bottom line is I can't stand that guy. He should have been T'd up for showing up Teddy V.
Although Ramar should be on the short list for the award for best flop. Brady just looks like a mouth breather. I hate him.
That is my rant for the evening.
Good night gentlemen.
- The day after this year's big win against Florida -- this was the Gators, mind you -- gramsey712's mind was on Brady:
What time is it?????With all the disdain and excitement coarsing thru my veins last night, I almost forgot what time it was!
What time is it?
Time to bust a rhyme?
No!
Time to eat a lime?
No!
Time to shoot a mime?
No!
IT'S JOHN BRADY HATE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hatehatehatehatehatehatehatehatehate.
- gramsey712 even named his NCAA Tourney Bracket entry John Brady is an Idiot!
- Brady was even foremost on gramsey712's mind the day the Vols got their shiny new No. 3 ranking and Memphis coach Calipari was flapping his mouth:
The only thing better than beating Calipari is beating John Brady. February 9th can't get here fast enough.
Well, we go to LSU tomorrow gramsey712. Time to get your game face on.
Fortunately, we should have this game in hand, according to the numbers:
