Vandy ought to turn down any offer to play in the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship. The National Invitation Tournament is tailor-made for this team.
Looking at the sites for this year's NCAA tournament, Memorial Gym's absence really hurts a team with a 24-5 record with 18 wins coming at home and all 5 losses on the road. If Vandy wisely opts for the NIT, they'd be assured of playing 3 games at home, only leaving the comfy confines of Memorial Gym for Madison Square Garden and the semifinals.
