How should playing time split between Foster, Hardesty, Creer?
Personally I think it will start about 60-25-15, but by the end of the year should be about 45-30-25. If the spread Clawfense does what it's supposed to do, then you'd have to think Clawson would want his homerun threat (Creer) on the field a lot. It would be good to get Poole some carries too, as he'll need to see significant minutes next year. Just one more thing, where is the next Jamal Lewis and why haven't we signed him yet?

I like it
60% for Foster is good. Perhaps a bit more. And after that, I’d split Hardesty and Creer evenly until one of them proves he deserves more. I’m thinking it will be Creer. Love Hardesty, too, though.
Go Vols!

No doubt!
Foster gets the nod at 75% Hardesty and Greer the rest….....Until Hardesty makes a commitment on playing time then it could be Hardesty at 75%..... He does have his moments and that is why he is now at 25% or a part of 25%...... When he;s having a good day he’s hard to beat…....but we can’t wait on him to have a good day he’s got to earn a spot by being consistant

So I crunched the numbers from last year...
and Foster carried 66% with hardesty getting 25% and Creer 10% (excluding G. Jones and Ainge). I would expect Foster’s percentage to go down because we should be running the ball more, especially in the latter (weaker) portion of the schedule. There’s a dual benefit to keeping Foster fresh later in the year and to getting more carries for the heir-apparents for the 2009 season.
