Fulmer needs to do more of these. He came across very well, I thought. Much different than the caricature that people paint of him when he keeps mostly to himself.

This was a great performance from him. I like how he took a shot at Alabama without seeming angry.

That and how he spun it as dark days not only for Alabama but for the SEC as well.

The Papa was very smooth. It seems like he is realizing that he needs to do more things like this to extend the Tennessee brand and help recruiting and make people remember, oh yeah, that’s a pretty good program in Knoxville.
Totally out of character for ESPN
to pay this much attention to Fulmer. I think this points to ABC/ESPN going after the SEC TV contract which is up for bid this fall. They’ve finally started hyping the SEC and I’m sure they realize what a cash-cow it is and will be. The question is: can they outbid Fox and CBS?
