You've got some scouting to do, son
Yes, football season kicks off tonight. Our game's not for four more days, but there's plenty of scouting of upcoming opponents to keep us busy until then. Yes, you can tell your wife it's scouting. This is serious business we're conducting here. With pizza and bevs.
The Alabama-Clemson game has the added benefit of actually (probably) being a good game to boot, but really, that's strictly an ancillary benefit. You have work to do, and just because you've been looking forward to it for eight long months doesn't mean that you can't claim it as some sacrifice on your part, right? Right? So here's the schedule, starting with Steve Spurrier tonight on ESPN. All times Eastern. Get busy.

Whooo Whee! & Lawd Have Mercy!
I don’t know what to do. Jump or run?!
Baseball at full throttle and College Football begins. Clawd have mercy! I’m just giddy with excitement. The Mets are in the thick of it and the VOLS are undefeated…well, they ain’t won yet either.
Enough baseball talk though. NCSU and USC tonight? Not a bad game at all to start the college season. Workin the red-eye shift right now.
In about three hours I’ll drive home and get some shut eye, then work on my list.
1.) Clean the birds nest of an apartment that I have.
2.) Invite my pretty neighbor lady friend over for some home made sangria.
3.) Cook up some chili dawgs. (Yessir, I said chili dawgs)
4.) Put the pretty neighbor lady friend on MUTE and the 52 inch flat screen HDTV on “near” full blast and have one hell of a time!
YESSIR!
I might have to have the neighbor lady friend take me to yonder hospital after consumin sangria and chili dawgs though.
Happy College Football season ever’ one!
Football kitty is ready! Are you?
