Vanderbilt

  • Beat Ole Miss on the road, 23-17.
  • Another game in the SEC in which the losing team out-statted the victor, as Ole Miss compiled 385 yards to Vandy's 202.

  • Beat Middle Tennessee at home, 20-14.
  • A back and forth affair ended dramatically as MTSU threw a 61 yard desperation pass in the waning seconds with Kentucky holding on to a 20-14 lead.
