Bounce Back Time
The UT UA game will be a great time for the UT Vols to bounce back. By no means will this be an easy game. The Tigers always have a good football team. And UT will restore some of their pride in defeating a program like Auburn. Coming off a loss to LSU and playing at home is going to make for some good football action this week end, but if UT can quit beating their self they can make this game their come-back start. I'm sure that the UT coaches have worked on preventing some of the teams mistakes that happened the previous weekend. And really if it wasn't for the mistakes.......well enough has been said on that subject. I sure hope they have found another punter for Sat. dang if not gonna be a long day. You can't get good coverage on bad punts. And the Vols have had their share of em this year. Chit I'm 60+ and can punt a football for more than 35 yards. Kinda leaning toward the 50 yd. line on a 4 down series. Got a kid here on a local HS footbal team that's punting for 42+ a game avg. sure hope the scouts know about him being as he's a Sr. My prediction is UT 24 UA 20.
GO VOLS !

I agree that they can turn things around on Saturday.
For all the gloom about the start of the season, the team isn’t that far away from being far more respectable. I like the run/pass mix of the last two games and the increased use in man coverage on defense. If it were up to me, the team would be going for it on 4th downs a lot more often (but that’s why they don’t ask me, I suppose), which would at least eliminate that pesky punt-return-TD problem.
But yeah, I expect that we’ll see a far better game on Saturday.

Interesting answer to poor punt coverage
Going for it on 4th down. Very Spurrier-esque (the going on 4th part).
Our punter punted the ball 8 yards last week. Yep. Eight. I could do better with my left leg (I’m a righty).
Oh, and just to nitpick to NO1UTVF, we’re AU (Auburn University) not UA (University (sic) of Alabama).

Hmm could be
I’ll take only three points every time out though as long as we only give up 2 or 0!

Show some emotion
I just want to see a little emotion. They start dragging as soon as they make a mistake. Also, it seems like without the “No Huddle” we lose rhythm.

Im in psyche myself out mode.
I’m at the point where everygame I’ve been really pumped that UT is going to turn it around. I’ve been really positive about things. You know, certain we were going to kill UCLA, certain we were going to stuff Urbane Meyer. I think instead, I’m going to be like Marvin the robot, from HItchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Not because I’m disgusted or am ready to turn in my orange druthers or anything…but because its a lot less painful for my soul if I start pessimistic and am then pleasantly proved otherwise…instead of getting my happy pants crapped on by somebody else…while I’m still in them.
Marvin: [as they are gazing at the wonder of Magrathea] Incredible… it’s even worse than I thought it would be.
Someday we'll look back on this and plow into a parked car.
