Tommy Tuberville on Tennessee - Auburn (Sports Animal Interview)
Wednesday afternoon, Tommy Tuberville was interviewed by John Wilkerson and Jimmy Hyams, hosts of Sports Talk of the Sports Animal. You have to give him this much; he will answer questions honestly and as best as he can. His thoughts on the Tennessee offensive line were what caught my interest and got me to post this, but there's a lot of information. The interview starts about halfway through the first clip and continues through most of the second clip, though the Tennessee Volunteers - Auburn Tigers stuff ends about halfway through. Plan for about 15 minutes for all the relevant talk.

Great interview with knowledgeable insight into Tennessee
Interesting that he confirms the three year plan that Kiffin’s talking about. Complex system, no talent (um, no playmakers on offense, 5th yr QB) on offense, new QB next year + completely new offensive line, and frosh/soph playmakers for next season. He didn’t know about Bray but said it was good that we were getting California talent there. Tubbs makes a compelling case for 2011.
Defensive line is good. Thin at LB and secondary is young (other than EB, who is the real deal).
Special teams are weak but he was complimentary of Eddie Gran for recruiting and special teams. Tubbs didn’t mention it but Palardy (kicker out of FL) will make a difference there.
