- Virginia Tech's loss to Georgia Tech? From the Rumble Seat's Winfield Featherston (a current Reck driver, no less) experiences one of those post-games he "will never forget." What say you, Gobbler Country? [crickets, mostly]
- Purdue's upset of Ohio State? Hammer and Rails says Nirvana achieved. What about you, We Will Always Have Tempe? Last vestige and all that, when Tresselball not only can't win national championships or win games against Texas or USC, but now can't even win the Big Ten.
- Florida barely squeaking by Arkansas? Chomped in the heart and the Gators are to blame, says Arkansas Expats, and Alligator Army is just happy to survive and advance.
- How about the Alabama-South Carolina game? Roll Tide Roll: ugly win. Garnet and Black Attack: ugly loss.
- Iowa's win over Wisconsin? Bucky's 5th Quarter says the Badgers got too cute for their own good, and Black Heart Gold Pants cautions Hawkeye fans not to get ahead of themselves just yet.
- Maize N Brew: Now that's the way to eat a cupcake, with "a Boeing's worth of yards."
- A Sea of Blue calls Kentucky's win over Auburn a "much-needed victory" for a reeling team while Auburn predictably calls it an Auburn "collapse" and compares the program to a slow-to-recover stock market.

I was going to offer words of encouragement
and then I looked at Georgia Tech’s remaining schedule. We might both be spending New Year’s in Atlanta.
