Is there any truth to the glowstick rumors????
At first when I read all these rumors I thought, what the hell??? But after thinking about it being Halloween and combined with the other rumors of having SC be in all black and us be in all orange it sounds pretty cool. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
No matter what it should be cool to watch and will increase attention on this game that may not receive a ton of attention otherwise. The glowstick thing could turn out to be really neat to see (if true).

I've heard this glowsticks rumor too
Though you’re the first person to mention the absolutely brilliant idea of Carolina in all-black and us in all-orange. We should make this happen right now, before Saturday so we’ll have something else to put on the fire for Alabama’s refusal to let us wear orange.
I think the glowsticks would be interesting…not something I’d want us to do every week, along with any other gimmick, but perhaps not a bad idea. I’ve also heard Eric Berry masks for the student section, so we’ll see…

What great ideas
I saw some S Carolina fan on an ESPN board mention the orange and black thing. that would be great!

well
apparently, Clemson and Coastal Carolina are doing it

I think that was decided preseason.
But of course, nobody is going to watch that terrible game, and it certainly isn’t going to be on national tv. So we should do it

There is a rumor
floating around message boards that the UT student section is going to receive Eric Berry masks to wear during the SCarolina game. And then this week that rumor was joined by one that the university was looking into purchasing thousands of (I assume orange) glowsticks to give out to the Neyland crowd for further visual effect.
It’s all message board rumor right now, but I’ve seen it several places, so who knows.

apparently they were talking about the unis on sports radio
the guys couldn’t get confirmation from the athletic department, but they doubted it was true

The Eric Berry masks are definite.
I’ve heard from a few people (second hand, I certainly don’t have any inside sources) that the glowsticks are likely as well.

Um, what's up with glowsticks?
Aren’t glowsticks only cool when the lights are off?

I was assuming they would be blasting techno and turn all of the stadium lights off
I don’t really care about the glowsticks as much as the idea of the orange and black uniforms. That would be really cool especially given how late the game is.
Living in Alabama is like living 50 years in the past, they are still just as racist, just as educated, the state constitution forbids any kind of public transportation, and all they can talk about is Bear Bryant

I don't know about these here new-fangled lightin' rigs
but, I don’t think you can just turn ’em off and on like that. I think they have to warm up each time they come on.
However, if there are enough glowsticks, and enough people participate, it will likely look pretty cool on TV.
Especially to stellar 17-year-old football players. ;-)
I told you we would beat Georgia!! Now, as for those 9 wins in '09......
I got bored and made a blog!! SCS

A blackout is a terrible idea
being that it’s one of Carolina’s colors. I know several different student groups have tried via facebook to get it going, but it hasn’t taken hold yet, and I hope it doesn’t. I’ll again put my vote with the all-orange vs. the all-black…and then we can orange out again or whatever, but NO BLACKOUT

BUT IT GLOWS IN THE DARK!!
Sorry, but that shirt sucks. I’d rather have an LED Father’s Day tie night.

murphy's law
enough of those shirts in Neyland, and fright night could take on a whole new connotation ( in that “The Cromptoning” kinda way).
Black vs. Orange would be laser awesome!
...and we shall eat only the red skittles...
