I just prayed for your nephew. Hang in there!

Yall are in my prayers!!
I am 21 years old. I broke my neck practicing football for my high school on Aug 14, 2003. I was 14. The dr’s said I would never have any movement, other than my eyes, and I’d never breathe on my own. Well, I’m here to tell you, Gods will will always outweigh any dr’s opinions! I can move my arms and I breathe on my own just fine. I said all that to say this, never let any human tell you what your life is going to be! No matter what the diagnoses, God will determine the outcome! Never let the frustration get to! Just keep the faith and trust in the Lord!! Nothing happens for “just because” There is a reason for everything! It may not seem like it’s possible right now but trust me, THERE WILL BE GOOD THAT COMES OUT OF THIS!! Gods will, will be done!!!
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. – Jeremiah 29:11
I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me! – Philippians 4:13
I hope these Bible versus will help you as much as they have me!!
If there is ANY possible way I can help, please let me know!! God Bless!!!!!!!!!

Your story inspires as much as the strong verses selected
You focus on what you CAN do and what God gave you back after a season. Keep sharing the faith and that story.

Thanks! But...
I’m nothing great. I just do & say what I feel like God wants me to do. With my injury I am able to relate to a lot of people that I wouldn’t otherwise. The way I see it, I got hurt for a reason. I’m still not 100% sure what the reason is but, if it is to tell my story to help just one person through a tough time or to help someone connect with The Man Upstairs, & I do just that, then I have had a successful life!!
My thoughts & prayers are still with you & yours!! God Bless!!!!!!!

I'm not a praying man, but...
I hope that this gives you some hope:
My girlfriend, when she was 17, was in a horrific car wreck. She was in a coma for 3 solid months, and the doctors told her parents that there was little hope of her ever coming out of it, and even if she did, she’d likely be a vegetable, retaining little higher brain function.
She’s now 27, and finishing up her doctorate in Neuro-Pathology. She’s top of her class. She even single-handedly bio-engineered a virus that attacks Parkinson’s disease. She has defied everything that every doctor said would happen to her.
I tell you that because I want you to know that amazing things happen. I don’t believe in god or anything, but I do believe in the power of the human will to overcome things that seem insurmountable. I truely hope that your nephew understands how many people love him and are praying for him (Like I said, I’m not a praying man, but I do believe that prayer is a beautiful thing for those who believe, and that those of you who are praying for him are right to do so). I hope that somewhere inside of him, he knows that people need him to recover.
This is one of those things that transcends fandom, rivalries, and everything else. This Bama fan will be keeping your nephew in my thoughts, and I hope that hearing what my girlfriend went through will give you some comfort.
