On being clear
I think the original context clearly shows that Kiffin was referring to the letter from Redding, not Slive, meaning nothing. The more public a figure Slive is in this whole “situation”, the worse it is for the SEC. If Mike wants to prove to Kiffin that he’s wearing the pants in this relationship, he needs to pick up the phone or get on a plane.

I'd be hard-pressed to say that anybody has drawn more attention to the officials than Slive himself.
(Not counting the officials, of course.)

the Freedom of Information Act is a bia. Also, I think after his comments that clearly he needed to be specifically addressed so all in all I think its no big deal.
