RTT Podcast tonight at 9:00 EST features Vol bloggers and YOU

Tune in tonight at 9:00 EST for the weekly Rocky Top Talk Podcast. Oskie from 3SiB will join us to talk South Carolina, Tennessee basketball, and Memphis. We might also have Ghost of Neyland from 3SiB or/and LawVol from Gate 21. Or maybe not.

And you know, this doesn't have to be just a passive experience for y'all. We have a call in number and everything. So please, call in and let us know what you think about the black jerseys or Lane Kiffin or Bruce Pearl's guys.

The number to call is (724) 444-7444. When you call in, you'll be prompted for a call ID. Enter 61505. You'll then be asked for a PIN, and if you've signed up for a TalkShoe account, you can enter that, but you don't have to. You can also call in anonymously by pressing some number I forget. They'll tell you. They're good that way.

I'd love to call in

But I don’t have any questions to ask, a phone that I can be safe to call from for an extended period, and I’m in class until about 9:25ish which doesn’t give me time to listen and make sure I ask a viable question.

I agree

With the comments about what Kiffin meant. He didn’t mean that the reprimand means nothing, he means the apology letter. Mike Slive was just bending into public perception with Kiffin’s big naughty letter. Which is a problem, I think.

I still say that if Slive feels the need to be as personally abrasive towards Kiffin as he is in this letter (while clearly misunderstanding the context himself), he should have the decency and the common sense to do it over the phone or in person.

Question for ya'll admin-type folks:

How about putting up a thread (doesn’t have to be a front-page one or anything) for us to submit possible questions on the RTT podcast earlier in the day? I’ll admit that I usually forget about the podcast until I see the announcement, and I might would be able to think up a question or two if I was given time to ponder it and submit it.
