"Hardesty yards" should be in orange.
Simulated Gameday Experience - just like the real thing, only we have smoke machines.
Speaking of mascots...
Does anyone else think that our Smokey actually knows what is going on? Seriously, he went after an Bama player in ’06. Also, he just seems so dang happy to be there.
To Strive, To Seek, To Find, and Not to Yield.
probably.
He’s a pack dog, and I’m sure he can tell who’s in his pack.

I'm not sure.
I think he may have ADD (seriously, overstimulation and a half), but at least he makes noise.

Wow
I’m surprised that we gained almost twice what they did. ~300 yards in the first half is sweet. And the defensive stats are only mediocre, not as bad as we’ve actually played.
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 21, 2009 8:45 PM EST reply actions
Halftime guys are more positive on UT's first half than we are.
We agree about the offense, naturally, but they skipped over the defense.
They're still running Billy Mays commercials?

You wonder
if the products he’s promoting have the money to pay for another ad after they already shot that one

They're staying away from him
I’m beginning to despair.

Do you know what really screws Vandy's schedule up?
Florida – Florida State.
Because of that game, there are an odd number of SEC teams left over for in-conference games. And Vandy drew the short straw, so they have to hope they can get a nonconference game if they want a bye week.
Good stop
No McCluster on that screen.

Hardesty's going to have my guess pretty soon
We need to get a good lead and put #11 in when #2 hits 130

But yo'ure right.
I checked the box score
by David Hooper on Nov 21, 2009 9:06 PM EST up reply actions
1st quarter
Long pass down the right side. Ill-advised, but it worked just like a punt. From their 45 to about the 20.

Why can't we...
just make this a blowout?! JC couldn’t help that one, you’re right.
To Strive, To Seek, To Find, and Not to Yield.

Dang.
I really don’t want to have to worry about this one. I can’t handle it.

It's sucked all game
Just like last week.

We are out of position.
Here is where the 3rd string middle linebacker hurts.

Word on the street....
Is that Lil’ Wayne is at the Tennessee game. Have heard it from a couple people. Any truth to this?

Surely not...
Is there any real recruits in attendance tonight
A lot of them are.
About half a dozen on officials.

Might as well let the defensive guys know we need their help, huh?

then it's possible.
Dude’s probably on his way to jail. Get him while you can.
Who did this defense blaspheme?
Seriously, it’s been one bad karma trip after another.
To Strive, To Seek, To Find, and Not to Yield.
Lost my guessing game #1
But we’re still up 2 scores.
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 21, 2009 9:14 PM EST reply actions
I need Hardesty to just get a little bit more
And the defense to hold. I doubt I’m getting either of those.

But the pressure was too good.
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 21, 2009 9:49 PM EST reply actions

But we gained some time.

Yeah...
how’d we not get the kid when he’s in our back yard?
He wanted to play quarterback
And we weren’t interested…and by the time we got re-interested, he was already committed to UK and didn’t like us coming back in late.
Which is interesting, because he’s not playing QB anymore

An Arky win would create a 4-way tie at 7-5 with the top pick going to the Outback, #2 going to Atlanta, then Liberty and Music City.
