Speaking of mascots...

Does anyone else think that our Smokey actually knows what is going on? Seriously, he went after an Bama player in ’06. Also, he just seems so dang happy to be there.

probably.

He’s a pack dog, and I’m sure he can tell who’s in his pack.

by Hooper on Nov 21, 2009 8:45 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

And that is why I love that dog.

I'm not sure.

I think he may have ADD (seriously, overstimulation and a half), but at least he makes noise.

Wow

I’m surprised that we gained almost twice what they did. ~300 yards in the first half is sweet. And the defensive stats are only mediocre, not as bad as we’ve actually played.

by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 21, 2009 8:45 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Halftime guys are more positive on UT's first half than we are.

We agree about the offense, naturally, but they skipped over the defense.

by Hooper on Nov 21, 2009 8:52 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

You wonder

if the products he’s promoting have the money to pay for another ad after they already shot that one

by Will on Nov 21, 2009 8:53 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Do you know what really screws Vandy's schedule up?

Florida – Florida State.

Because of that game, there are an odd number of SEC teams left over for in-conference games. And Vandy drew the short straw, so they have to hope they can get a nonconference game if they want a bye week.

by Hooper on Nov 21, 2009 8:59 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Good stop

No McCluster on that screen.

by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 21, 2009 9:00 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Hardesty's going to have my guess pretty soon

We need to get a good lead and put #11 in when #2 hits 130

Ugh

Why can't we...

just make this a blowout?! JC couldn’t help that one, you’re right.

Word on the street....

Is that Lil’ Wayne is at the Tennessee game. Have heard it from a couple people. Any truth to this?

by TennesseeQuackAttack8 on Nov 21, 2009 9:11 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Surely not...

Is there any real recruits in attendance tonight

by ChattVol on Nov 21, 2009 9:12 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

A lot of them are.

About half a dozen on officials.

Okay I'm going to play alittle devils advocate

I know this years off season was much more physical this year, anybody think that it might me contributing some to these injuries?

I think Bryce Brown's hip

is still banged up from a hit he took in fall camp

by Will on Nov 21, 2009 9:23 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Quite possibly.

It contributed to WR injuries early.

You can’t run away from injuries, either. And it made a huge difference in the defense’s level of play early.

If you’re going to leave a hole in your return coverage, at least don’t have it directly in front of the guy. Make him at least run sideways.

An Arky win would create a 4-way tie at 7-5 with the top pick going to the Outback, #2 going to Atlanta, then Liberty and Music City.
