Yeah
Justin.tv streams are notoriously choppy and low res.
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 6:03 PM EST up reply actions

i cant figure our why either

It depends on the uploading stream and on the host server.
Some servers are able to handle hundreds of outstreams at once; others are not.

I couldn't pick it up on any of the Fox Sports Net channels
it’s only on FCS on DirecTV as far as I can tell
by Will Shelton on Nov 22, 2009 6:09 PM EST up reply actions
FCS sucks
I dont think they know how to gear anything towards the markets they play in

Yeah
Fairly comfortably. I shut off the audio feed when we were up 15 with a minute to play. Summit has cleared the bench.

I'm interested to see how J.P. Prince does
I haven’t gotten to see a UT game yet this season, but his stats have been horrible. The man is a talent, even if not as much as Hopson.

I thought I was going to have to spend $8 bucks again
but the digital sports package was only $3/month. I guess i can cancel after 1 month…
Our D started well 1st possession
Who committed the foul?
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 6:11 PM EST reply actions
don't think so
I’ve got the sports package and could only pick it up on 617
by Will Shelton on Nov 22, 2009 6:13 PM EST up reply actions
Two travels on Chism now
Although he’s rebounding now.
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 6:14 PM EST reply actions
Yeah
They’d initially signaled travel
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 6:15 PM EST up reply actions
Nice drive by Prince, poor finish
Dumb foul. 2 on him?

DePaul was 0-18 in conference play last year
Which makes this early performance a bit worrisome.
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 6:25 PM EST reply actions
it will get back on track
this is why we pay CBP the big buxxx

Ouch
McBee badly missed the first tech free throw.
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 6:28 PM EST reply actions
Refs are really emphasizing
any offensive contact on a pushoff in the games I’ve seen so far this year
You can see what Pearl means
when he says Tyler Smith’s most natural NBA position might be point guard…he makes some very good passes in transition, even if that one was a little off to Tatum
Well, at least we're in the bonus already.
Simulated Gameday Experience - just like the real thing, only we have smoke machines.
We've had trouble making 2 foot shots for a long time now
Does everyone do this, or is this a random UT problem?
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 6:37 PM EST reply actions
post players need to go up and throw it down
this drives me crazy
by Will Shelton on Nov 22, 2009 6:37 PM EST up reply actions
Wow
The number of FGs we’ve shot that they haven’t (8) is greater than the number that either team has made
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 6:42 PM EST reply actions
Thankfully DePaul isn't doing any better.
Simulated Gameday Experience - just like the real thing, only we have smoke machines.

heh
And just as he hit it, my internet went out. took me a second.
by David Hooper on Nov 22, 2009 6:54 PM EST up reply actions
Did McBee score our last eight points?
I think he did. At any rate, he’s the only Vol who even MADE a three all half. That’s worrisome.
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 6:55 PM EST reply actions
This is the team to have an off night against.
Simulated Gameday Experience - just like the real thing, only we have smoke machines.

also by the way
are you worried about the Broncos yet?
by Will Shelton on Nov 22, 2009 6:59 PM EST up reply actions
No.
I didn’t expect 6-0 in the first place. To be honest, 6-4 is far better than my initial 2-8ish best-case estimations. I’m not worried in the least if they don’t make the playoffs.
by David Hooper on Nov 22, 2009 7:02 PM EST up reply actions
McDaniels is becoming an interesting case study
on how to handle immediate success followed by immediate disappointment. The Chargers are fickle and I thought they’d be competitive today (I also had Denver’s defense in fantasy today, which hasn’t been a fruitful move on my part)
by Will Shelton on Nov 22, 2009 7:05 PM EST up reply actions
I could have told you not to do that,
depending on what your other choice for a defense was. The Chargers are gaining confidence, and Rivers knows how to play against a 3-4.
by David Hooper on Nov 22, 2009 7:13 PM EST up reply actions
Damn
The feed went offline. I don’t suppose it will come back before the second half.
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 7:06 PM EST reply actions
Okay
So the owner says he’s fixing it.
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 7:07 PM EST up reply actions
Oh, my.
Duct tape is not a good structural support at all.
by David Hooper on Nov 22, 2009 7:17 PM EST up reply actions
There goes the stream again
And here it’s back. And gone. And just skipping like a mad dog.
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 7:15 PM EST reply actions
This is good for UT, actually.
The delay will push the second game later in the evening. If we can get that pushed back an hour or two, it might make them groggy tomorrow.
Haha

Eating right IS absolutely terrible
Steele is hot AND has good taste.
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 7:32 PM EST reply actions
Brian Williams just doesn't have it offensively
there’s nothing he’s doing on that end that inspires confidence, even 2 feet away
Hopson got his own rebound!
Then Tatum got fouled shooting a three.
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 7:36 PM EST reply actions
DePaul is still shooting terribly. That's good.
Simulated Gameday Experience - just like the real thing, only we have smoke machines.
though perhaps
they haven’t updated DePaul’s stats for this half on the SI box score

We've shrunk Tennessee's rim by two inches. Let's see if anyone notices.

Or is he just taking today off?

Definitely old school in this game
Chism 13, Tyler 12, everybody else really nonexistent outside of McBee’s two threes
That was TOO close
I’m a little worried. I know it was only our 3rd game, but we’ve got a tough test coming up tomorrow.

Open question
Will this team go as Hopson goes?

I still think we're more dynamic overall than last year
McBee’s presence, Goins’ presence, Tatum’s growth help…but if we’re talking about reaching our goals, winning the SEC and making the second weekend in March, yeah, we need Hopson at his best
by Will Shelton on Nov 22, 2009 8:21 PM EST up reply actions
well, the whole team shot poorly
but it’s key for our team to be able and hit the 3 ball. it opens up the floor for chism and tyler
At least you'll get to see tomorrow's game
The rest of us are still at the mercy of the justin.tv users.
by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 8:25 PM EST up reply actions
theyre showing an interview w Tyler Smith
with Samantha Steel. I don’t even know what they’re talking about………….
An early look take on this St Joes-Purdue game
I think we might rather play Purdue. St Joes is really shooting it well, Purdue is not.
