It depends on the uploading stream and on the host server.

Some servers are able to handle hundreds of outstreams at once; others are not.

FCS sucks

I dont think they know how to gear anything towards the markets they play in

I'm interested to see how J.P. Prince does

I haven’t gotten to see a UT game yet this season, but his stats have been horrible. The man is a talent, even if not as much as Hopson.

by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 6:08 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

I thought I was going to have to spend $8 bucks again

but the digital sports package was only $3/month. I guess i can cancel after 1 month…

but almost turned it over on a stupid pass

DePaul was 0-18 in conference play last year

Which makes this early performance a bit worrisome.

Ouch

McBee badly missed the first tech free throw.

Refs are really emphasizing

any offensive contact on a pushoff in the games I’ve seen so far this year

by Will on Nov 22, 2009 6:31 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

ugh

that was a nasty one-handed oop by DePaul

by Will on Nov 22, 2009 6:32 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

You can see what Pearl means

when he says Tyler Smith’s most natural NBA position might be point guard…he makes some very good passes in transition, even if that one was a little off to Tatum

Wow

The number of FGs we’ve shot that they haven’t (8) is greater than the number that either team has made

McB43!

I’m a fan of this already, hooper

by Will on Nov 22, 2009 6:47 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

heh

And just as he hit it, my internet went out. took me a second.

by Hooper on Nov 22, 2009 6:54 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Did McBee score our last eight points?

I think he did. At any rate, he’s the only Vol who even MADE a three all half. That’s worrisome.

by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 6:55 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Stats of note

Vols 14 of 33 (42.4%) from the floor, +6 rebounds…leading scorer is McBee

by Will on Nov 22, 2009 6:56 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

For such a bad night, up 9 isn't too bad.

I don’t mind off nights early in the season, really.

by Hooper on Nov 22, 2009 6:57 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

also by the way

are you worried about the Broncos yet?

by Will on Nov 22, 2009 6:59 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

No.

I didn’t expect 6-0 in the first place. To be honest, 6-4 is far better than my initial 2-8ish best-case estimations. I’m not worried in the least if they don’t make the playoffs.

by Hooper on Nov 22, 2009 7:02 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

McDaniels is becoming an interesting case study

on how to handle immediate success followed by immediate disappointment. The Chargers are fickle and I thought they’d be competitive today (I also had Denver’s defense in fantasy today, which hasn’t been a fruitful move on my part)

by Will on Nov 22, 2009 7:05 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I could have told you not to do that,

depending on what your other choice for a defense was. The Chargers are gaining confidence, and Rivers knows how to play against a 3-4.

by Hooper on Nov 22, 2009 7:13 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Damn

The feed went offline. I don’t suppose it will come back before the second half.

by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 7:06 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

so the rim is broken

i wonder how long it will take them to fix it? they are on island time….

by golfballs03 on Nov 22, 2009 7:14 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

There goes the stream again

And here it’s back. And gone. And just skipping like a mad dog.

by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 7:15 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

This is good for UT, actually.

The delay will push the second game later in the evening. If we can get that pushed back an hour or two, it might make them groggy tomorrow.

Williams

has attempted some awful shots.

by golfballs03 on Nov 22, 2009 7:34 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Brian Williams just doesn't have it offensively

there’s nothing he’s doing on that end that inspires confidence, even 2 feet away

by Will on Nov 22, 2009 7:34 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

I know

It’s hard to watch.

by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 7:34 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Hopson got his own rebound!

Then Tatum got fouled shooting a three.

by Incipient_Senescence on Nov 22, 2009 7:36 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

These guys aren't going away

and we’re not putting them away

by Will on Nov 22, 2009 7:38 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

though perhaps

they haven’t updated DePaul’s stats for this half on the SI box score

by Will on Nov 22, 2009 7:42 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Did Tyler Smith get injured or something?

Or is he just taking today off?

take some time and get a good shot

by golfballs03 on Nov 22, 2009 8:03 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Definitely old school in this game

Chism 13, Tyler 12, everybody else really nonexistent outside of McBee’s two threes

by Will on Nov 22, 2009 8:11 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

you notice

Goins and Tatum in for final possessions, Maze and Prince out

by Will on Nov 22, 2009 8:12 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

That was TOO close

I’m a little worried. I know it was only our 3rd game, but we’ve got a tough test coming up tomorrow.

Open question

Will this team go as Hopson goes?

I still think we're more dynamic overall than last year

McBee’s presence, Goins’ presence, Tatum’s growth help…but if we’re talking about reaching our goals, winning the SEC and making the second weekend in March, yeah, we need Hopson at his best

by Will on Nov 22, 2009 8:21 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

well, the whole team shot poorly

but it’s key for our team to be able and hit the 3 ball. it opens up the floor for chism and tyler

by golfballs03 on Nov 22, 2009 8:22 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

At least you'll get to see tomorrow's game

The rest of us are still at the mercy of the justin.tv users.

An early look take on this St Joes-Purdue game

I think we might rather play Purdue. St Joes is really shooting it well, Purdue is not.

by golfballs03 on Nov 22, 2009 9:19 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Still think that?

Should be a good game tonight. I hope both teams show up.
