I'm wondering if that's just the scoreboard video feed

Cuz they keep showing the kissing cam and stuff.

Wow

We started out down 9-7 and have outscored them 18-2 since.

Well, we haven't shot many threes

And have only made one. I’m glad we’re more ready to get inside, but I hope that can continue with success against bigger teams. We need at least the threat of 3 pt shooting. Also, the press is working, but will it work against D-I opponents? Also, Kenny Hall is really, really impressive.

Yeah, I like Hall a lot

He’s very tall and very wing-y.

At half we've made 3 threes

The last two were by McBee. Shocker.

They're looking pretty good

Thought they got off to a slow start, but it’s good to see the press and a bunch of turnovers.

I was able to catch the first half live.

A couple of quick notes. One is that fouls in succession seem to mess up the team’s chemistry. It doesn’t even have to be fouls on Tennessee; that string of early fouls in the game was mostly on LMU, but UT had a hard time finding a rhythm until after the fouls settled down.

Two is that Bruce is quick to turn mistakes into teachable moments. Very early in the game, a UT player (Goins?) committed a technical. LMU was doing one of those OOB-to-OOB passes to try to break the press after UT had scored, and the UT player got too aggressive and contacted the second OOB player. As soon as it was called, Pearl turned around and made sure all the bench players knew what the rule was and that they needed to be careful about it.

That first point was true last year as well

And it caused us a whole lot of trouble throughout the season.
