Kiffin lays the groundwork, Meyer takes the bait and the punishment.

This was all part of his master plan
You can't sit on a lead and run a few plays into the line and just kill the clock. You've got to throw the ball over the goddamn plate and give the other man his chance. That's why baseball is the greatest game of them all.

i can picture it now
slive sitting on the edge of the bed holding a shoe with urban bent over across his knee. slive looks down with a tear in his eye and says, “Now son, this is going to hurt me more than it is you.”

What are the odds
Urban got a “look, I have to” phone call from Slive – or a phone call or any kind, which is more than Kiffin received.

Oh snap?
Yeah I was really concerned for his financial well-being if it was just coming out of his meager salary. Good thing for Urbie that Florida is teh bestest!!!!!!11111

Bad boys, bad boys...
whatcha gonna do?
"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." Kiffin better be careful...
He won’t get fined. He’ll get suspended. Hope Meyer and Slive aren’t setting a trap!
Sept. 20 Headline: "Lane Kiffin furthers career. Collects 2 whines, one blatant and drives Urban Meyer out of mind in 3rd game of season."

That's the funny thing
Kiffin won’t say another peep about the officials now that the rule has been passed. I can’t believe old Urbie would either. Unless it’s a conspiracy between him and Slive to act like there isn’t any favoritism towards Florida. I’m not saying there is, just the conspiracy theory that has been floating around. That’s spelled c-o-n———-spiracy. Otherwise, that was just plain stupid on his behalf, him thinking the rules don’t apply to him (the most obvious scenario), or a pitiful attempt to earn his “street-cred”.
Kiffin will continue to get his shots in at Meyer, but he’ll keep doing it in a way that nobody can discipline him for it. Just like the “or not” comment, the “obviously that doesn’t apply to Urban” comment, and the flu comments. Kiffin lives in Corch Urbie Meyers head!!
In fact, I think my signature needs a third line…..

He was made an example out of...
sense no one was taking the code of ethics thing serious. Also there may have been a little, “look we fined the Gators, we dont love them like everyone thinks”.

Urbie got a slap on the wrist
Kiffin would have received a one game suspension without pay. Favoritism reigns in the SEC office.
For those wondering why I say that – do the math on a one game suspension for Urbie and compare it to the measly $30k……
