So while I was in college I had a bad habit of drinking and driving. I’m not proud of it at all, and I did it a few times. It wasn’t until Britton Colquitt’s last DUI that I realized how bad of a habit this was, how dangerous it was, and how awful I would feel if I damaged somebody’s property the way Britton did, and heaven forbid I kill someone. I wised up and started a rotation of DDing with my roommates.

If my parents knew I did this, even now, they would be inrediby disappointed in me as well as very angry. I am reasonably assured that my parents are just as proud of my life achievments as they would be if I was a stud fooball player, so I don’t think that tis woul change.

This guy’s dad was in some Orlando newspaper talking about how he hoped they would let Carlos play football. Are you serious? I hope that Carlos Dunlap, his father, or Urban Meyer will sit down and reflect on this moment and realize that DUI is not some crime to be laughed off, especially if you’re not able to maintain conciousness. I hope that Carlos learns his lesson from this experience, and I hope that the NFL GMs and the Florida Gators don’t take it easy on him.

I also drank and drove more than I should have in college

As you get older, you realize it is not a smart thing to do. I guess what I am saying in regards to your comment is “I agree.”

But after meeting for two consecutive days with athletic director Debbie Yow, Friedgen was given the go-ahead to make plans for a 10th season as coach at his alma mater.
