Of course Big 10 fans don't want two teams in the BCS
Their conference isn’t strong enough to justify two teams in the BCS. So if/when they do get two teams in the BCS, they get annihilated in the rest of the bowls.
Contrast this with the SEC who gets two teams in the BCS, has situations where the sixth best team in the conference plays in a bowl against the third best in another conference, and still ends up 7-2 or 6-3 overall in the bowls.
This is why no preseason magazines referred to the SEC as “charmin soft.”

The Notre Dame theory.
I had the same thought. Maybe ND should join the Big Ten.
And then they could be the other Big 12. :-D
Both of those Big 10 articles are really just kind of sad
If you are pressed for time and don’t get a chance to read them, they say:
“We are afraid of playing good teams because we will lose.”
That’s all they are really saying.
