Woo!
"When you go on the visit to Tennessee, it’s hard to turn it down, just for the tradition, the academics," the 6-foot-3, 215-pound quarterback from El Camino Community College in Torrance, Calif., said Wednesday moments before signing with UT. "Who doesn’t want to be a Volunteer? You’ve got to be crazy not to want to be a Volunteer."
"I can't hear you, Rocky Top is playing."
I'm still bitter about Chris Simms too.
I’m bitter he started over Major Appelwhite in the 2001 Big 12 Championship Game.
Simulated Gameday Experience - just like the real thing, only we have smoke machines.
Don't be bitter

He has man boobs.

He's going to have some making up to do
for his brother’s actions in the eyes of a lot of Tennessee fans, but consistent production on the field goes a long way toward forgiveness.
I look forward to him
taking over as the starter from Bray after Bray has a 21-26, 300-yard, 4 TD game.

When..
do we see him put on a Texas hat?? I kid, I kid…
As much as I dislike Chris Simms
his four turnover choke in the ‘01 Big 12 title game the same day we beat the Gators paved the way to the Rose Bowl (or should have), so at least he did that for us. We’ll take his brother with open arms.
i was just over at scout.com
looks like jose jose switched his commitment to south florida

Aw I was sincerely looking forward to all of the Jose squared and "the lineman was so nice they named him twice" jokes
That, and hes a sorely needed O-lineman

Local radio station
claimed he showed up for a visit to campus way too heavy and that turned the coaches off.
Um...
Do the events surrounding his leaving Louisville give anybody else pause? Is he gonna pack up and leave if Stephens or Bray beat him out next year?
hey hey hey looky here
we’re slowely deveoping some competition at the QB position
And best of all...
All four guys (including both newbies) will be here in January and will compete in spring practice.

According to Rivals,
he was the 14th ranked pro-style QB in his class. Number 10 in that same class: BJ Coleman.
I’m excited, but still curious if this is a package deal signing to get his roommate and teammate, Kenbrell Thompkins.
thompkins has already given his verbal to UT
maybe this was just to seal the deal a little bit

Does Tennessee have
jersey number 420? Don’t bogart
Both new QB's
It is my understanding that both Simms and Bray will be here next week and will participate in bowl practices.
Vinnie Testaverde is always remembered for Tennessee kicking his ass.
That's awsome!
I never thought about EEs getting that time in. Do you think they will get any reps in practice? I’d like an early report of how they look.
Simms is still recovering from an old wrist injury
So he won’t be throwing in practices. But they will both be here.

To my knowledge he's good to take actual reps
I don’t know if he will. I’d expect that he would at least get some reps with the scout team or something. Not that he’d make the best Tyrod Taylor in the world.
