Chris Low Confirms

Chris Low is confirming the story.

Coach Brown coached an incredibly talented bunch of UT wide receivers during his time under Majors: TD Woods, Cleveland, Harper, Miller, Moore, and Pickens. He has a proven track record as a coach, NFL credibility, and he is a first class guy all the way.

I especially like it

for this reason: wasn’t he on the list of candidates for the OC position when Cutcliffe left?

Yes

He’s also taken the year off from football after working with the Lions in 2008, so he’ll be fresh and ready to go. You know you’ve got something good going when the last three head coaches at UT have all brought you on board.

Good for Kiffin!

This is an outstanding hire! Glad to have him back!

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
