Last Weekend Bryce Brown visited Lane Kiffin, and the Tennessee Volunteers and had nothing but high praises for the Vols'. "The players and the coaches are fired up down there. I could tell that they are working hard to battle for the SEC title".
Bryce talked about spending time with the Jim Chaney, Offensive Line Coach, "We talked about how they are going to block different run plays. We also talked about the impact that Coach Kiffin had with the Oakland Raiders over the past couple of years, as well as his NFL experience with the St. Louis Rams". The offensive linemen impressed Bryce too saying, "All of the linemen there met in the morning on their own time and they were working their butts off." "One of them told me that regardless of who's behind them, they're going to rush for at least a 1,000 yards. I really liked their confidence and work ethic. I believe that the more you work the more successful you will be." When asked about his meeting with Coach Lane Kiffin, Bryce said,"It went very well, you can feel the passion that he has to make UT champions again. He already has proven that he is one of the best offensive minds in football. Coach Kiffin made a big impression on me."
One of the highlights of his trip was the other Coach Kiffin though. "Coach Monte Kiffin is high energy and hilarious, you can see why he's been so successful over the years with the Buccanneers. He really made me feel at home and I enjoyed him. For him to come to Tennessee and support his son in this way shows me alot about him and Tennessee's commitment to winning," said Bryce.
Bryce said that the Volunteers will be in it to the end, when he announces on March 16, 2009 at the Kansas Hall of Fame, in Wichita, KS.

Thank you!
I’ve been wondering since Sunday how it went, and nobody was reporting on it! thank you.
If you cut me, I bleed Orange.
I'm all Vol.
All sounds great...
Does this kid speak this highly of everyone after he visits there would be my question.
He has...
Every article I read on him he praises every school and says he’d work well in their scheme. So, I’ll tune in on March 16th or whatever the date to see who he picks because this kid gives no indication as to who has the lead in his mind.

Whoever typed this article up
didn’t know that a lot is a lot of words, evidently. Seriously, though, this type of thing makes me really feel like he’s going to come here. It’ll either be us or LSU in my opinion. LSU just seems to have everything he wants. Talent, NC title shots every year, good coaches (sort of, not really proven anything, yet). It almost seems like no contest, so just the fact that UT seems like it be able to stick in it til the end is impressive.
It sounds like the whole program has a new fire right now.
Scout has an interview with Teague. Here are a couple of quips:
So what made Kiffin’s approach different from that of Urban Meyer and Nick Saban?
"It was just his energy," he said. "It was at a whole other level. He was a lot more hands-on, too.
In fact, it already is a whole new era at Tennessee as displayed by some of the recent publicity that new head coach Kiffin has been getting. "I really like his style," he said. "Not everybody does. He’s just a ball of energy and that’s good for Tennessee. He’s a crazy guy, but I like it."
And this little teaser…
Although Teague is ranked as the No. 18 cornerback in the country by Scout.com, he says that the Vols also want him at wide receiver. "During my visit, Coach Lane Kiffin said he likes me at slot receiver," he said. "But his dad, (defensive coordinator) Monte Kiffin, said he wants me for corner so I got a chance to meet with both offensive and defensive coaches.
"Either way they said that they’d get me involved early," he said.
Teague will be moving to Knoxville on June 1.
