If thats really how it went down I’m not sure why Werner would think a bump would rattle a player who has more than twice the game than he does.

Gomv, the best I can figure is that Werner was trying to bring Smith down to his level. If the guy’s flat-out better than you, there aren’t a whole lot of options available within the usual standards of sportsmanship.

Yea, I guess its the old if you can’t beat them, BEAT them. As in physically rough them up in hopes of getting them off their game. Funny it didn’t carry into the actual game as our guys were relatively untouched inside.
