Bryce Brown talks about his decision

Rivals reporter was able to talk to Bryce about his decision and why he chose Tennessee.  Repeatedly he made it very clear this was a spiritual choice and that God made it clear for him.... soooo.... and I know this is gonna make some people angry and I really hate when other people quote things out of context but I can't resist...

31What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Personally....

I think Brown is going to be a great player, But when you go off and say things like he did, well it may be bad for the way people look at not only him but the Univ. , I was talking w/ a Tenn. Fan who was actually irate w/ what Brown said, two things to be exact….“Tenn is God’s team” and “The next I talk to you (meaning the media) I’ll be up for the Heisman” It’s always good to have confidence but sometimes you need to be a little more conservative on what you say, and I say that for a Bama commit in Dre Kirkpatrick, He seems to be a little over confident also, that’s just my opinion, I’d rather have the players that show what they can do on the field rahter than say it on camera.

At this point in time, Bryce and Dre shown it on the college field as much as any other recruit.

Everybody prefers on-field results, and it’ll be nice when we can get them.

On a lighter note, that second quote should make everybody happy. Either he’ll talk to us when he’s had a stellar year and has a trip to NYC, or we’ll never have to worry about him in the media again. Can’t beat that deal! ;-)

Yea ur right that was easy but if you look on rivals you’ll see it somewhere I’m at work so I don’t have much time but I did look for it and couldn’t find the right story but there’s plenty of them there that will basically say the same the same thing just in different words, BUt go on rivals.com and look for it, you’ll come across it eventually
