Bryce Brown finally ended the extra-long soap opera that his signing had turned into on March 16. After committing to Miami, his recruitment was still wide open.
Among his suitors were Oregon, Kansas State, LSU, Miami, who may or may not have retracted the offer, and Tennessee, who he decided to sign with.
One of the reasons he decided to go with Tennessee over the others was that he felt they would get him to the NFL. He stated, "I thought they were the best school to prepare me for the next level."
I had to laugh at that a little bit.

I'll give him this
You’re right if the past 4 years are what you’re looking at, UT is not attractive for an elite RB prospect. Which is why Brown never considered us until the new regime got here. Therefore his argument is just pointless. Do people really get paid for this? Where do I sign up?

We did have a 1000 yard rusher a year ago
So the possibility still remains.

The entire left side of my brain just threw up in my mouth
and then went into the corner to cry.

Oh, now I get it.
This guy wrote the article. The intro to his bio?
I love college sports. Need I say more?
Ok well I will. I am a Oregon Duck fan first and foremost. …

It all makes so much sense now.
If I had time at work, I’m sure I could throw out a bunch of meaningless stats together to prove why Brown should’ve signed to Duke. pffft.

I bet it took less than 10 minutes to write.
He already had the conclusion in his head before he started and the stats he quotes are terribly easy to dig up online.

Don't bring on the wrath of the Oregon internet faithful.
I ran afoul of them a year or two ago (note: do NOT mention the 2001 BCS if you want to avoid them) and not only do they not go away, they’re kind of impervious to logic. There are a few of them that run separate – near as I can tell – BCS conspiracy sites. All i can say is you’ve been warned.
