Eddie Gran kicked out of Pahokee High School
Never a dull moment...Ghost over at 3SIB adds to the KNS report by directing us to PrinciPAL Alejo's web page...I'm sure this guy doesn't have an agenda either...

Ugh
Grow up Pahokee. I hope Kiffin stands his ground on this one, screw em, I’m sure they’re replaceable.
now with less meyton panning.

He can still recruit the players
Just can’t be on the school property, is that accurate?
"The man who complains about the way the ball bounces is likely to be the one who dropped it."
That's gotta be it
Nothing the school can do to keep him from contacting the player anywhere else or by any other means…but it goes without saying that the input Pahokee kids are getting from their own administration isn’t going to be favorable of the Vols, and I’m not sure an apology is going to do anything about that at this point.
I’m curious if what seems to be everyone’s stance on principle – “Screw these guys, he already apologized” – is or isn’t what’s best for Tennessee Football.

I hate to say it
But I think the best thing to do would be for Kiffin to get on the phone with the Pahokee principal and just appease him. As much as it sucks and don’t think Kiffin is in the wrong this game of chicken is silly and we need to move on.

Or if he is sure that Nu'Keese is gonna be AWESOME
That’s all the help he needs to show Pahokee kids how they could flourish at UT.
Official MCM Hater!
I don't think its the "he already apologized" mentality
Its that he is a grown man acting like a child.

Chris Low has CLK quoted as saying:
For those of you who haven’t been to Pahokee, there ain’t much going on. You take that hour drive up from South Florida, there ain’t a gas station that works. Nobody’s got enough money to even have shoes or a shirt on.
I do not remember him ever saying this. Does anyone know for sure?
I dunno, but
the way that principal’s acting he’s gonna end up pumping gas in South Carolina.

The KNS article links that quote to the Gainesville Sun
It’s thrown in with a bunch of stuff I do remember him saying, and I can’t find the full video of that banquet anymore…so unless the newspaper completely made it up, I guess he did say it. I didn’t remember it either though, and it seems like something one would remember.

Found the video
Yep, he said it.

I was able to find it also
I think what is important is to establish the context. He was simply stating it as a description (and from what I gather from people who’ve actually been to Pahokee, stating a fact) to paint a picture of what life is like down there in terms of it being tough on the people.
I’m no “Chris Low has a vendetta against Tennessee!!!” guy, but I will say that his lack of context for the quote, as well as his frequent use of the word “stupid” in the article, is a bit unprofessional.
Now the Gator logo is off the Principal's profile
…wise move, but too late…too late.

Given the lateness, I rather think it's unwise now.
Having taken his actions while the logo was up, it became news at virtually the same time as the initial report. (Thanks, internet!) It’s not like taking it down hides anything, even though it makes him look like he’s trying to. So we gain another way to criticize him while he gains nothing in return.
He would have been better off to leave it up and fight his battle from the existing lines.

The wisest course of action, of course, is always
don’t put Florida’s logo on your webpage, ever.
