You don’t turn down a scholarship at Purdue to walk-on at Tennessee unless you think you’ve got a real shot at something.

So if Miami won't release him to UT, et al...

because of tampering, is there a way around that or what? Also, does anybody know a reason he is leaving Miami, I don’t know much about this guy…

ESPN.com story from January

says Miami thinks the family contacted UT (among others) and is implying no wrongdoing on the part of the university. Apparently there were some academic/attendance issues, and he wasn’t going to be the main guy at Miami this year.

I like the prospect of Marve coming to UT a lot better than the Cameron Newton rumors.

Marve

I watched several of the games he played in and I was pretty impressed. He’s got a great motion and throws a nice ball. I never saw him make too many mistakes, but according to some Miami fans, they say he has trouble reading Defenses and going through progressions. Take that for what it’s worth.
