Denarius Moore Has a Broken Foot. Wide Receiver Injuries Pile Up

Denarius Moore has a broken foot and is out for likely 8-12 weeks.  In the interview today, Lane Kiffin confirmed that Denarius Moore was going to miss some time this season.  That is in addition to the loss of Austin Rogers for the year, and suddenly the wide receiver depth chart is going to be very freshman-dependent.

Moore, as you all remember, was our deep threat last year and gave us a couple of our best highlights in the year of offensive paucity.  Replacing his skills will require speed, which means that players like Nu'Keese Richardson and Marsalis Teague may become rather important for the offense rather quickly.

Perhaps we'll find out how freshman-ready Lane Kiffin's system really is.  We'll update as more information comes in.
