New TN Uniforms. Legit?

I kinda doubt these are legit but as long as people are still talking about black jerseys. Feast your eyes on these...

These were posted on the Berry4Heisman Facebook fanpage a couple of hours ago. So what do you guys think? Great photoshop job or real?

Well I think they're fake but it's still fun to pretend. Looks like this person really likes black.

Oh, they're 'shop jobs for sure. NTTAWWT.

It makes sense to use photoediting for uniform design – you save the cost of creating uniforms that eventually get rejected.

But Kiffin did say a week or two ago that they haven’t spent any time worrying about uniform redesigns. I’d guess that the earliest they worry about it would be next summer, and that only if they feel comfortable with the progress the team’s made. And that would put new unis on the field two years from now at the earliest.

Not that is should stop us from thinking up new designs… ;-)

Wow.

Get a black helmet for the black unis and I’d be totally on board with these. They’re in line with my idea of simplicity and are otherwise pretty friggin’ sa-weet. Now, if we can get some checkerboards on the collar, I think we’d be good. Real good.

2 and 3 remind me of what we tried in 2004 (I think that’s the correct year) w/ the giant orange stripe down the pants. We need something a little less subtle but makes you think ‘speed kills’.

Agreed. The black piping really makes the orange pop.

But definitely ’shooped (but a good one at that). I do like the black unis too, but Id settle for the more updated look of 2 & 3 first.

even Eric Berry cannot overcome my disdain for the orange pants- unless they bring wins. i dig the the black uni’s, but i can’t get on board with the idea of black helmets.

I don't like the orange pants either.

From the comments on the fan’s Facebook page it looks like he was trying to incorporate the “Power T” into the jersey and pants.

I’m planning on creating a 3D model of Eric like this and rendering a turntable where the uniforms change variations with each 360 degree turn. Once done, I’ll send it to the staff and Athletic Dept. to see what they think.

Since the Upper torso forms a natural T-Shape, I figured I’d experiment a little and see if I could incorporate the “Power T… Read More” (logo) into the design. After toying around with the concept a bit, I thought it came out fairly well, and who better to show it off, than Eric himself?

Now that I know that I think he did a great job of blending tradition with something new. More please.

Shouldn't screw with the home uniforms.

Number 3 would make a nice road uniform. Forget #1 and #2. Always loved the Condredge Holloway road uniform reprised the 1st game of 2004.

NO BLACK UNIS…please people. i know black is all the rage these days and i know some of our players like the idea, but they’re only here for a few short years. I’ve been a fan since 72 and i like my orange unis as is….dont screw with tradition i say.
