Help!

I created unis. Which I would like to post. However, I can not, for the life of me, figure out how to move the pics from My Documents\My Pictures to the dang Fan Post. Apparently, the address on my hard drive is not a URL. Do I have to publish them to the web or what? Can't drag and drop. Don't know how to make this work. Could somebody help me please. My skills are limited, obviously. Help!

Yeah, you can't upload them directly from your hard drive.

They have to be stored online first so that you can get a url for the picture. It’s a file hosting thing.

There are a couple of easy ways to address that. You could use tinypic, which is free. If you have GMail, you can also use Picasa. Both work well.

Once you get the images uploaded get their URL (often done by right-clicking on the full-size image and selecting “Copy Link Location” or whatever IE calls it; just don’t right-click a thumbnail). Then you can paste the URL into the popup window when you try adding a picture to your post.

Hmm

Isn’t there an “Upload” tab in the FanPost editor? That should allow you to upload the picture as an “asset” to SB Nation.
