I'm guessing
That for those of us w/o ESPN 360 or the money for this “SEC Network” are relegated to gamecast & radio?

Jim Ross: My.. My god, is that Eric Berry's music??!!
Kirk: I hope not ...
SEC Network
Should still be shown on the old JP/LF/Raycom stations. If you’re outside that area, you’ll need ESPN GamePlan or 360

Yep
Standard ESPN/ESPN2 Games, I’ll get Kentucky vs Miami(Oh.) on ESPNU, but one channel is covering the US open and one, apparently, is covering .. nothing. Just not showing a game untill 3:30.

ACC
used to have their own deal with Raycom, which is why the SEC games never got shown here in SW Virginia. I wonder who picked that up, because that’s the game that should be in that noon slot…

Yeah
It’s just plain weird that we don’t have a noon game. Maybe TV Guide has erred .. if nothing else a LOT of people around here will want to watch the App State v ECU game (noon kickoff). But .. no .. no game there. It’s mind boggling.

That game
is on MASN here, which to my knowledge has never carried college football before and is usually only good when the Braves are playing the Nationals.
Will - Rocky Top Talk
Hey now, MASN's more useful than that.
Watch a standard definition Nats broadcast on MASN2 sometime and feel like you’re watching JP Sports.
Eric Berry for sending the guy who wins the Heisman spinning 720 degrees in the air at the podium - or for intercepting it and returning it to where it rightfully belongs

Ah yes, the majesty of MASN2
Tough times for the network though…Orioles, Nats and Wizards might be the most downtrodden combination of teams one network shows regularly. At least the hockey’s good.

WOO!
360 finally got here like two weeks ago.

Are we going to have a Thursday Night live game thread?

Yes.
There’s no way we’ll allow the first day of football to go without the chance to release some of our pent-up excitement.

heh
Fortunately, there’s not a single word of that policy that applies to us. The UTAD does not consider any blog to be media.

I’m in Boston now. Still good on 360 though, right?

well-said
That’s why they invented DVR, so we could watch the game in an hour and pause it when the Mrs. has something important to say about the neighbor’s cat on 4 & 1 at 0:10 in the 4th qtr behind 6 on their 3 yard line.
One of the coolest uses of the DVR . . .
. . . the 30-second skip button. It’s not just for commercials, but for time between plays. The timing can get off a bit, but often it works from tackle to snap.

If you have a TiVo . . .
. . . you can find the code to program it to do that by googling it. It doesn’t come that way due to advertising concerns (it didn’t used to, anyway), but like I said, you can program it yourself.
From memory (so may not work): while a recorded program is playing, press the following in sequence: select, play, select, 30, select. You should hear three chimes if you did it right.
