They really should have had those field goals in the end zone as touchdowns. Between that and the gap in the 3rd quarter where they didn’t get any first downs is where we lost that game.

But to their credit, there were only 15 drives (including the game-ender, but not including the one into halftime). Lane said earlier that he wanted only 12 to 14 in the game. Had they managed some offense in the 3rd, that would have happened.

What did we learn about Crompton in this game? We clearly have no confidence in him. And with even competent QB play, we could have won that game yesterday. I think he is still our starter going forward, but I he didn’t really improve his standing that much.
