I know it's primarily because of the injury to Thompson
But, having yet another freshman in the starting lineup just looks great to recruits.
And, what’s the deal with missing practice because of laryngitis? Does it hurt that bad?

I'm guessing it was the hard breathing on a sore throat.
I could see where that would inhibit performance and perhaps even make the condition worse.
And you’re right; Thompson has been a great linebacker this year so far, so it’s not an indictment of him. But I also agree that getting more youth experience is only a good thing in the long run.

I'm always amazed the coaches don't lose their voices more frequently.
I’ve only heard Lane hoarse once that I can remember.
