I just noticed.

Adding the ones to the end of exclamation points give us Bryce Brown’s number.

I like it!

Let's make it RTT law.

Henceforth, if a post demands exclamation requiring several repetitive punctuation marks, the jersey number of Bryce Brown will be attached to the end.

Example: Go Vols!!!!!!11

Amendment 14: The jersey number of BB can be substituted at any time with 14 or EB

Sweet!

You’ll appreciate the Pacific Time Zone, too. For the most part, sports scheduling is far, far better there. No more MNF at 9:30 at night!

Great area

You also get to roll out of bed on Sundays to catch NFL starting at 10am.

Check out Deception Pass and Whidbey Island out in the Puget Sound. So beautiful up there.

Also might want to consider taking up fly fishing- a plethora of great fishing spots within an hour’s drive of where you will be.

Ball, oskie, cover, block, cut and slice, pursue and gang tackle... for this is the WINNING EDGE.

Two questions
  1. Who schedules a baby shower at 7pm on a Saturday, much less a UT gameday?
  1. Can you watch replays of the UT game on ESPN360.com? Since I will be missing the majority of the game?

This reminds me of the Rutgers game from about 5 or 6 years ago.

"I remember once talking to one guy on the Cardinals and asking him what Pujols was like as a teammate. He said something that’s really special, if you think about it. He said: "Albert is so good that you feel like you let him down when you screw up." I thought that had to be the ultimate line that could ever be said about a ballplayer. I build my baseball team around that ballplayer."

I'm fine with some of the gains the defense has given up so far.

From the sound of things, UT is completely shutting down the run and forcing Ohio to stay in the air with the ball. Given the talent we have in the backfield, that will catch up to Ohio eventually.

Clearly a bit of post-Florida/pre-Auburn trap game mojo workin against us here

but good to be up at the half. I’ll wager Monte’s halftime adjustments will be stellar and our depth will wear them down in the 2nd half.

by danmarcel on Sep 26, 2009 8:45 PM EDT up reply actions

I would agree.

So far, they’ve already been reduced to a passing game designed solely to counter the pass rush. That’s not a lot to work from.

The radio announcers dont' understand the rule.

They’re debating whether (a) he picked it up and then went out of bounds, or (b) if he was out of bounds and completely ineligible to pick it up.

Re: (b). If he’s standing OOB when he touches it, it’s Tennessee’s. But he can re-establish himself. They’re confusing the receiver rule.

Now we just hope the review crew doesn’t screw this up.

Probably a precaution

and just for observation. Im guessing he was out cold for a good 20-30 seconds, and didnt even remember his name for three or four minutes. Theyll do some xrays etc.

They just said there were some kids who needed circumcised at the hospital

and since he wasn’t playing, maybe he could swing by and do the deed. That makes more sense.

I'm off to start typing a postgame.

I’ll lurk on occasion if news breaks, but thanks y’all for stopping by. Enjoy the win!

An ugly win

is better than a pretty loss.

So what was everyone's thoughts on how we came out and played at the beginning of the second half?

Typical letdown game

I didn’t expect a WKU repeat because this is a solid MAC team, but I didn’t expect this performance either. I think this will look better once we see Ohio’s W-L at the end of the year, but it’s rather meh right now.

It's entirely possible that Ohio wins out from here.

Not likely, but possible. I’m guessing they’ll end 8-4 or 9-3. Solich really is a pretty good coach.
