SEC Power Poll: Week 1 Final Ballot

It should be no surprise at this point that my final ballot remains unchanged from my draft. There are plenty of workable arrangements that I'd be perfectly fine with, but there are none that have a compelling enough argument for me to bother with making changes. So the week 1 ballot follows:

LSU
didn’t do so hot against a team that went 0-12 in 2008.
Basically, everything after #2 is up for grabs.
In LSU’s defense, it was a long trip for a Pacific Time Zone night game against a Washington team that actually played very well. And UWash had their star quarterback, who they didn’t have last year.
But I wouldn’t argue with a different slot for them at this point.
I was arguing that very thing with another Blogpoller this morning
But who to put after Florida and Bama right now? Basically it ought to go, one, two, [big plummet], whoever else.

bingo.
Every other team in the SEC is a work in progress. By the end of the year, things should look better. Right now, ugh.
I've always supported the idea that rankings shouldn't necessarily be in numerical order.
This week’s SEC Power Poll should really be 1, 2, 6, etc.
Eric Berry for sending the guy who wins the Heisman spinning 720 degrees in the air at the podium - or for intercepting it and returning it to where it rightfully belongs

Did it look painfully familiar to anyone else?
I saw a secondary getting carved up by short passes. Coulda sworn I saw Chavis on the sidelines, too…
I'm gonna have to disagree
with Florida being first. It should go more like this:
Alabama Crimson Tide
Florida Gators
Mississippi Rebels
LSU Tigers
Tennessee Volunteers
Georgia Bulldogs
Auburn Tigers
South Carolina Gamecocks
Vanderbilt Commodores
Kentucky Wildcats
Arkansas Razorbacks
Mississippi State Bulldogs
Reasoning: Alabama played and beat Virgina Tech… who did Florida play… south charleston whoever? Might as well have just played my high school team.
mine would go like this
Florida Gators
Alabama Crimson Tide
LSU Tigers
Georgia Bulldogs
Mississippi Rebels
Tennessee Volunteers
Auburn Tigers
Arkansas Razorbacks
South Carolina Gamecocks
Kentucky Wildcats
Vanderbilt Commodores
Mississippi St. Bulldogs
