Gary Parrish: Cameron Tatum & Melvin Goins could be reinstated in the next two weeks
A source told CBS Sports that Tatum & Goins have passed a drug test, and with Tyler Smith taking the blame for the weapons and Brian Williams taking the blame for the marijuana, they should be cleared of charges and free to return soon. Parrish also touches on the chances of Williams' return later this year.

Good news
as much as I don’t want to mess up what we have going right now, I think that we will need a little more depth to be successful down the stretch.
As for the discipline issue. I think a standard needs to be set, and punishments issued that also serve as deterrent to such behavior. Merely putting yourself in that situation brings negative attention to the University and sets yourself up for trouble – and it needs to be stopped. In the end, I trust Bruce Pearl, and whatever decision he makes
GVX reports that Pearl won't know the length of the suspensions until Friday (at the earliest)
Even if he finds out Friday that Goins and Tatum are to come back immediately, I still don’t know that it’s enough time to prepare them for a Tuesday game (certainly not enough time to prepare them for a Saturday game). This suggests that our three games in six days jaunt is pretty ill-timed, and we’ll have to do it with a nine-man rotation. Hopefully they can continue to play at a high level, because none of those games will be easy, especially not #21 Ole Miss after just one day of rest and a visit to Tuscaloosa as the third game in six days.

I think you're right
at Georgia on January 23 seems like the most reasonable idea, which would equal out to a five game suspension

It'd be nice to get some depth back
But I don’t want any of them back until charges are cleared. First the incident with the football team and now the basketball team puts a huge black eye on our university.
