Wow, Orgeron told kids not to go to class!

We have heard from multiple sources, including defensive tackle Marlon Walls that Ed Orgeron was on the phone tonight with some of the early enrollees telling them not to go to class tomorrow and attempting to begin the process of recruiting them to USC.

USC is going to get hit hard with sanctions if this is true

They should get scholarships taken from them and they should be banned from post season play for a number of years.

Even if this were true...

… I don’t see how we could prove it. Unless one of the kids doesn’t want to go to USC (unlikely) and decides to rat on them. Even then, it’s he-said/he-said.

"Multiple sources"

sounds like it would be easy to confirm.

The total lack of honor is appalling. I hope the mob surrounds the bastard’s house.

Ball, oskie, cover, block, cut and slice, pursue and gang tackle... for this is the WINNING EDGE.

Posted on a UCLA board, though teh poster claims to cite one of your boards (ymmv).

…And I won’t go to Tennessee. They had the nerve to call me and ask me to come to Southern Cal. And coach Orgeron had just told me he was going to be my coach at Tennessee.

Bruin here

Be happy the cancer is gone. Kiffin was only going to bring you grief. He wasn’t a particularly good coach, but worse, he had zero integrity, as he is now demonstrating. Two years from now, when UT is back on track and the ncaa has opened its permanent enforcement committee meeting room at $c, you’ll be very happy you got rid of this guy.

I’m happy to have my respect for UT built back up where it belongs.
