It appears the UT Vols and UCLA Bruins will be forever linked now that Lame Kitten has absconded to the University of South Central.

With that in mind, I would like to extend a heart felt invitation to all Tennessee fans to come out to the Rose Bowl for the annual UCLA vs SUC City Championship on December 4th.

I myself have been been well received by the Volunteer faithful twice. The first time when ya'll came out to the Rose Bowl in 2008 which sparked me to write up this description of the day.

I was so impressed by the manners of those Tennesseans that came out and tail gated with us that one year later when Volsrock1 (of RTT) came onto Bruins Nation and extended an invite to the rematch at Neyland Stadium, I jumped on it after very little internal deliberation. I was so impressed by the hospitality and class of the Volunteers that day, I wrote up this piece to chronicle it all.

One Hell of an Adventure

I feel like it is my turn to return the favor. I would like to invite the entire Volunteer Nation and it's Navy to come out to the Rose Bowl for the annual UCLA vs SUC City Championship on December 4th. I challenge all UT Fraternities to reach out to their brother branches at UCLA and hit them up for couches and floor space to sleep on. I would like to paint the Rose Bowl in Bruin, Volunteer and unfortunately, SCumbag colors. I want you guys to join us in singing the Bruin 8 Clap, and I want to encourage the Bruins faithful to sing Rocky Top as we hand Lame Kitten a big heaping handful of F U.

Personally, I can offer couch and floor space for up to 4 - 5 people. However, I have to reserve 1st dibs to Craig Payne (Volsrock1) and/or Brandon Waldrip both of whom did the South and it's reputation for hospitality proud that memorable weekend.

We have a year to organize this, find cheap airfare, and make this happen.
