Willie Mack Garza, who coached the Vols' secondary last season under Lane Kiffin, packed up his office and left town sometime in the last 24 hours and apparently didn't notify anybody on the current staff that he was leaving.
With new Tennessee coach Derek Dooley still searching for a defensive coordinator, the Vols were already shorthanded on their coaching staff. There's never a good time to be shorthanded. But two weeks before signing day is the absolute worst time.

Well
His conversion rate isn’t all that great then.
Ahmad jumped back to Baylor because of Kiffin, and Eddrick Lofton is high on Tennessee and it must not have anything to do with Willi Mack since he left in the middle of the night and Eddrick’s story came out this morning.

What a bunch of weasels (sorry weasels)
Wow, another one slinks out under the cover of darkness…likely to resurface at maybe ….I don’t know Southern Cal ?? Good riddance , if Dooley can just keep us above water this whole fiasco may turn out for the better because we were (are ) looking at some big time NCAA violations coming down on us with this former regime . Another point I made last week and got a bit of " you do not know of what you speak" is that Dooley will scrap this “national scope” in favor of a more regional focus i.e. Ga ,South FL, La , and Tx .
What do you want to bet...
… that Willie Mack had (at least copies of) the recruiting stuff Orgeron got so mad about UT not sending him last week?

I'll go you one better
How about he takes it to USC…with him

Given how he departed, I'd assume that both of you are correct.

Is anyone else as tired of this, as I am?

Yup

Hey, wait a second.
We had an “Old Smokey” that used to come around here when Rocky Top Talk was still on the old platform. If I remember correctly, he had a hard time getting his account transitioned over to the current system and went by ‘volman’.
Are you he, by any chance?
