Barbara Dooley has always been a good interview
She’s a classy lady who speaks her mind. A few years ago, she did a TV show in the Atlanta area with Pat Dye in which they discussed football. How many coaches’ wives could pull off such a show?
You can definitely see a good combination of Barbara’s wit and Vince’s circumspection in Derek. Those qualities will serve him well, both on the booster speaking circuit and on the sidelines.

My guess is
that Barbara knows more about SEC football than everyone who posts on this blog (or y’alls) combined. She’s just an absolute gem, and I hope y’all don’t mind sharing her with us :)
