I had pretty much figured that Ambles was off the board for UT, but hey, if he's trying to visit . . . .

Color me cynical...

but I think this could be some bastard rumor spread by Kiffin and his band of Ministers of Disinformation.

But I would love it if it’s true!

Except that the snow looks to be a problem

I wouldn’t be surprised if seeing snow really helped with some deep south prospects who’ve never seen it before. But you have to get ’em there first, and it seems that Robinson has been forced to cancel his visit and Ambles is stuck at the airport (with, to my knowledge, all the flights canceled).

Hey, Peyton Manning's on-campus visit was during the ice storm of '94

That’s the pitch, right? “You and Peyton, Markeith! You and Peyton!”

ah the ice storm of '94

are we still talking about that?

Why wouldn't he?

If I could get snowed in with a couple UT hostesses, I’d make the trip!

Ambles' twitter confirms that he's riding to Knoxville

It also confirms that he has no grasp of the English language. I probably shouldn’t ever look at the twitters of most college athletes. It’s depressing.

Who all was scheduled to make trips this weekend, along with Ambles?

Clark, Crump, Probst, and Sapp are there

Rumor is that Ambles, Rogers, and Nance will be driving up today and staying through the b-ball game. Possibility of Glass and Stone, but I’m not sure.

I'd love to get the guy's playing ability

But we don’t need somebody who is going to do something stupid. I get the feeling that Dooley will be a good judge/developer of character, but, as you said, it’s still a little unnerving. At this point, I’d rather have Rogers (although getting both is obviously the goal here). Also some friggin’ DTs. That’s the position that’ll sink us if we’re not careful.

The more of this stuff I read

The more at peace I am with the Kiffin Chimera being gone. Btw, has the “chimera” part of that ever rang more true?

It seems we were all so excited to be the focus of attention and the ones talking back to the rivals a la Spurrier for a change that we didn’t notice the questionable personalities we might be getting.

Losing Ambles to another school would be no big deal to me. I would MUCH rather have Da’Rick.

Not sure I want to know

But his tweets aren’t all that encouraging……

I assume that one bone is a phallic metaphor and the other is the literal pelvic bone.
